This was the first three pieces surf casting rod developed by our Company in collaboration with Michele Nardi, and suddenly became a standard reference for the major exponents of surf casting worldwide. The Poetica MN is now a full series to which we added the number 2. This is because we are delighted to have achieved an ambitious goal: the creation of tubular tips having the same calibrations and characteristics of solid carbon tips. In fact, the most powerful version of the actual 250 grams, with whom has been achieved the highest performances, has been paired with two other models 160 and 200 grams.

Both are at the top of the Trabucco production since they were designed with the finest materials and the best technologies available on the market today. No compromise in the structure of the blank , made in CX-2 Nano-Tek Carbon, nor on the components, Fuji Gold reel seat, balancing butt knob and original Fuji SiC guides. All tips were finely hand crafted, optimized and calibrated for maximum accuracy and maximum push during casting.

The blank is resistant to moisture and salt through an innovative process called “Zero Friction Blank” which not only makes the line running more easily but it  gives also an excellent cosmetic effect. The series is dedicated to a technical audience, using very thin lines and aerodynamic leads to get the longer distances! The ideal reel to match these rods are big sized (10000) spinning reels, but also  baitcasting reels can be used,  since the 8 guides placed along the blank represent an hybrid solution. The Poetica MN2 are developed for surfers with high technical skills, able to use advanced casting techniques such as the ground cast.

{Fuji SiC Guides}
The Fuji SiC (Silicon Carbide) guides are possibly the best guides you can find on the market. Diamond-polished Silicon Carbide rings are twelve times harder, dissipate heat four times faster, and weigh fifty percent less than standard stainless steel rings. While the stainless steel frame used is ultra resistant to wear and saltwater-proof. As a result the SiC Guides delivers greater casting performance, improved weight and balance, increased accuracy, reduced line twist and with a greater sensitivity.

{Fuji Reel Seat}
On the Poetica MN range, we selected only the best components and as reel seat we used the ultra reliable Fuji Dnps gold label, entirely built by graphite it offers a great strength, ergonomic and designed to last longer.

{Butt Cap}
The butt end cap is a feature that many don’t consider. But in fact it helps all the operations during the casts or when fishing and additionally it has the function to protect the butt end. We’ve designed also special rubber caps also for the inner sections to prevent any damage during the transport.
